The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been a part of Government Polytechnic College, Sironj since its establishment in 2011. The department offers a 3-year (6-semester) diploma program in Mechanical Engineering, affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal and approved by AICTE.

The department is supported by experienced and dedicated faculty members who focus on delivering both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Well-equipped laboratories and workshops are available to provide hands-on training in core areas of mechanical engineering as per the RGPV curriculum and AICTE guidelines.
